Cool As A Cucumber
Picture it...it's the middle of the summer, the Riggers are grafting away with their tops off and apart from the odd run around the studios in a dropside, the last thing you want to do is exhaust yourself in the heat on the worlds biggest car park, the M25. When structuring our fleet, we decided that all vehicles frequently covering mileage outside of studio grounds MUST be equipped with Air Conditioning. So sit back and chill out in our Luton Vans, Rangers & Panel Vans.
Hazard Warning
A considerable amount of Sets and Locations require crew members to pass through areas open to the public, this often means we are instructed to display the use of hazard lights while driving. This might make us more visible to dog walkers however, it compromises our ability to indicate and signal our desired path. Other than the unfortunately tall Luton Vans, all other vehicles on the G20 Vehicle Hire Fleet come loaded with a low profile, high output, Amber LED beacon mounted on the roof for all to see. So whether you're weaving your way through the woods or doing your best Top Gun impression on an airfield, with the flick of a switch you stand out and blend in all at the same time.

Now more than ever, a productions carbon footprint is scrutinised to ensure the industry continues to do their bit to care for the environment. When it comes to heavy haulage and sporadic working hours it's never going to be practical to make the switch to electric vehicles. By supplying an entirely ULEZ compliant fleet, all of which are HVO ready, we provide the perfect solution to optimise environmental protection without compromising performance or practicality!

the world of Logistics for the Film & TV industry.

RANGER

DROPSIDE
Now for the heavier loads, we often get asked why we opted for single wheel rear axles as opposed to the dual rear wheel option.
This facade will continue to baffle hirers for years to come. As an LGV driver with a standard car licence, you are only permitted to drive a vehicle with a maximum gross weight of 3.5 tonne.
Adding more wheels might make it look stronger,
however it decreases the payload considerably.

TIPPER
Here we've tried, and if we do say so ourselves, succeeded in creating the ideal studio run around vehicle. Built on the shorter "L2" chassis, our tippers boast an impressive payload without the hassle of manoeuvring a lengthy dropside around the twists and chicanes of stages and workshops. To accommodate the requirements of our friends in the paint shop, we've engineered a removal roof system. This can be fitted on request to any of our tippers, for those of you craving a nostalgic feel of the "Carry On"
days rattling a Milk Float around Pinewood Studios.

PANEL VAN
For some time now we have decided to only stock the SWB Transit Customs for our panel van inventory. The LWB are great however, unpopular as many will opt for a Luton Van instead.
These Beautifully Spec'd Transit Customs are the ideal Production Van, with a plethora of mod-cons you really can utilise G20 Vehicle Hire's Unlimited Mileage policy in comfort and style.
